I like to walk barefoot on the ground and all around; a thousand birds make the sweetest sound

I have a request for my musically eclectic friends' list. I've been trying to find an mp3 of the Cowboy Junkies' version of Jerry Garcia's "To Lay Me Down". It's from Deadicated, the Grateful Dead tribute album from 1991.

I've been looking everywhere for it. I'd buy the CD except I already HAVE a copy of it somewhere in my scattered CD collection. If I can't find it, I'll eventually just buy it, but if anyone can help me, I'd very much appreciate it. I have Jerry's version, but it's not the same song at all. It's different in the way Led Zeppelin's "Thank You" changes in the hands of Tori Amos.

Oh, I hope I hope I hope!

Now I'm going out with my friend Sandra for her birthday, but I'll be back to do TBS and so [livejournal.com profile] patchfire won't call Missing Persons.

I only call Missing Persons after sulking and Nibbles have failed.

I've uploaded To Lay Me Down for you here (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZLKPKSW9).

Also, I just got the next chapter of Morality for Beautiful Slytherins back from The Beta. Keep an eye out for it soon :)

If I had it, I'd send it to you, because I certainly enjoy the yousendit tunes you've let me have.

You really should be a Canadian. The Cowboy Junkies were formed right here in Toronto. They recorded the Trinity Sessions at a church near where I work.
p.s. congrats to your Bosox for a fine first half of the season. Hopefully my Jays can somehow catch you in the second half (but that would require some decent starting pitching!)
:)
