Now, see, I've heard mixed reviews about MML. Mostly people are saying OMG so good. Even the IMDB comment!people liked it, and they hate everything. And the whole 'based on a true story' thing hits my geek buttons. Sometimes I watch movies for the plot, an' all. *g* And I can hear your hysterical laughter from here, too, so :P. *points to self* This is me never wanting to see Aspen Extreme, y'know? Not that I won't, because I tend to be a Completeist. I think I'll have to be dragged kicking and screaming to 20,000 leagues though, pretty or no pretty.
But really, what made me want to see MML was the video in my post, did you see it? Not so much for the OMGsohot!ness (although, hey, come on, I am not made of stone, here [/Thatcher]), but because of the scene where Patrick is practicing his grieving face and then just shuts it off, like that. Very impressed, I was (and apparently Yoda, I am).
CC sounds like Misery Goes to Canada. Not that I've ever actually SEEN Misery mind you. I've read the book, which is even better, right? Doesn't mean I won't like CC, but I'm going into it with the whole Misery thing in my brain.
