I agree with you completely! No one does who they are but that can be a good thing for them. I wouldn't want to live in Hollywood and be mobbed wherever I went all the time. I hope that PG at least knows that he does have LEGIONS of fans outside of Canada - he better know since I keep buying season one of S&A (it's on sale at Amazon right now) to give to friends. Part of me wants to be all culturally snobby and say that I know where the talent is but the other part of me wants to share the love (hence my three copies of Twitch City that I ordered from Canada for xmas gifts) I think I just have to comfort myself with the fact that I know that I have good taste and not be bothered that PG (at least) isn't more successful here. He HATED Hollywood and I am glad that he is doing exacttly what he wants to be doing, the WAY that he wants to be doing it. Our culture measures success in such an inauthentic way and I just hope that those of us who appreciate the real talent out there keep getting to see said talent. Again -this is me ranting without breakfast!
