I would assume the girl was mortified and embarrassed. And that's fine -- because that's what she was doing to the other kids. Sometimes a bully needs to know that there will always be bigger fish than they are, so they can experience first hand the kind of emotions they're inflicting on those they bully.

In brief: fine with me. It's good to see a parent actually take action with a misbehaving child.
