I agree, I think it would be a nice ticket. I don't think it's going to happen, though. They're both -- to use the word yet again -- too nice. I think somebody's gotta be the heavy. In my experience, it always works that way: in both the children's choir I directed and the group I sang in in college, there had to be someone ready to be the no-nonsense, ready-to-discipline, authoritarian-type figure in place, in order that the director could be diplomatic and approachable. Love me some John Edwards, but I think Obama's going to need a bulldog. (PLEASE just don't let it be Hillary. OMG PLEASE.)
