The Great Rhode Island Flood of 2010

Providence, mostly (I think) Atwells Avenue. Annoying bad panning is annoying:

Warwick Mall, about ten minutes away from me:

Local flooding in Cranston and Warwick:

Things are a little better now (the sun is out, yay!) but parts of 95 and other places are still closed. And I really don't know when the Warwick Mall will be able to reopen.

I was thinking about you when I watched the news. How are you yourself doing? Everything dry in your house?

Wow, seriously impressive.

Wow, I used to live there! I worked in the mall and lived in Warwick. Years later I lived in Providence. That was all pretty impressive and scary.

I'm glad you're ok!

Wow. That is stunning.

Thank god you are OK, if a little drowned.

\o/ Oh no! This boggles my mind. I hope you're high and dry and safe!

Holy cow. O.O It was wet here in P'ton, but nothing remotely like that! I'm glad your place stayed dry, though, and I hope the inconveniences re: showering/flushing will be cleared up quickly.

Connecticut didn't get hit quite as hard as Rhode Island, but both Norwich and Stonington were declared disaster areas.

I hope you will be able to shower and flush soon.

The only major problem I had at my place is that the basement in our building had major flooding so we had to turn off the hot water heater for a day.
