Does anyone know about usenet newsreaders, like what's the best one, how expensive, and such? I don't really want to use GoogleGroups, and wah, I'd really like to get back to alt.books.stephen-king again.
I've only used Google Groups. It's annoying but quick to use and posts don't take that long to get up. You can link it to your Outlook, but I don't quite know how. Good luck to you!
You can supposedly do it from within Outlook, but I don't use Outlook, so...
You can also read from within Opera, but that's also a browser. It's my default browser, too. I like it. And it looks like Thunderbird, the free email client from Mozilla (like Firefox for the browser end) can do newsgroup reading.
I downloaded FreeAgent (actually did the 30-day trial thing), but it's asking me technogeeky questions, wah. I don't even know what an NTTP is. I am v. techhie-challenged.
