I may be just an old soldier to some...but I know how it feels to grow old

Yes, Genevra Virginia, this is the result I actually got:

You Are a Liberal Republican

When you tell people that you're Republican, they rarely believe you.

That's because you're socially liberal - likely pro-choice and pro-gay rights.

You're also not so afraid of big goverment, as long as it benefits people and not politicians.

You are the most likely of any Republican type to swing over to the Democrat side sometimes.

Believe it or not, there are some who say I'm conservative. I've never believed them. Oh, my.

Of course, I do adore Lincoln Chaffee so very, very much.

My [livejournal.com profile] peacey will no doubt be entirely amused by this. *snogs her*

Consider me amused. :) Perhaps this will plant a seed in your noggin. Whispers, "Conservatism good, big government bad, peace through strength...."

Must go now. I still find myself getting giggle fits to the point of tears because Tom Daschle lost. Ah, tis a good day to be a conservative (even though my dopey state went blue).

Oops, forgot. *snogs prim for being the bestest liberal (conservative?!?!?) I know*

"Conservatism good, big government bad, peace through strength...."

Fiscal conservatism can be good. The government's pretty darn big under W. I could write for days on Peace Through Strength.

I wish that people would stop putting labels on each other, anyway.

"Hi, my name is Primrose and I'm...myself. Funny, that."
