I see so many people who just don't care, because it "doesn't effect them". Those people should read Niemoller's poem.

We need to care. Gay, straight, bi, man woman, whatever. For first-gens like Del and Phyllis and for the future, for people like you and Arthur. It's why Americans need to stay in America and be the change we want to happen. All these people who want to high-tail it to Canada aren't going to change anything. :/

I have read exactly one-and-a-third Sandman novels, and have encountered at least three gay characters.

The cool thing is they're not all perfect, angelic characters. They're human (at least the ones I've seen), just like everyone in RL.
