When I was driving home from work, the smoke was so thick even on I95 that I was actually coughing.

Nobody's been killed, and no houses have been damaged besides some melting siding, but geez. What is it with West Warwick and fires?

I just stepped outside. It smells like smoke, bigtime. I'm in E. Greenwich; the fire is in W. Warwick. Should I be worried?


Probably not, but gee. The fire started at 6:30. Geh.

Something that puzzles me:

I have a question for those of you who delete your LJ because you have: A. a paper to finish, B. a house that needs cleaning, C. stuff for work that needs to be done, or D. something like that which involves willpower to do instead of doing LJ things: Why not just turn the computer off? Or disconnect your modem, if what you're doing needs to be typed? It seems to me that undeleting doesn't take much more time than rebooting or reconnecting to the internet. I think A. might be because you need the internet to research stuff, but that's about the only reason I can think of.

I'm not flaming at ALL. I'm just curious. And I'm not wondering about those of you who have to delete because of anonymity issues. That I understand (although almost everyone I know well at least is aware I have a LJ).
