Okay, so I said to topaz7 over here, and I quote, re: the Fourth of July:

"why isn't it called United States Day? Is it because we might actually forget that it's on July 4?... I mean, really, if I can remember Willie Nelson's birthday, I can remember the birthday of my own country."



Except that apparently? I can't:

Me to co-worker: So, we get time and a half today, right?

Co-worker: *practically gives the Evil Eye* Huh?

Me: Um. Yeah. Right, I meant Wednesday. Er.

Co-worker: *gives confused and possibly 'should I have this person committed now?' look*

Me: *scurries off*

Next vacation? I'm going to Philadelphia. Or Boston. Or Washington, DC.
