Okay, those of you in/around the Mass/CT/RI region...can anyone give me referrals to gynecologists who would treat fibroids but who wouldn't necessarily want to take out my uterus? 'Cause, I might have use for it yet, an' all.
Women who've had kids preferred, but the no hysterectomy thing takes precedence in this case.
Anyone?

Date: 2005-04-08 04:37 pm (UTC)It doesn't appear that he has what would constitute a practice any more (though I don't know if he may be still affiliated with the ones he had back when I was going to see him, both in Malden, and in Groton). If it were possible to have a conversation with him, I'd bet it would be a very informative one. I'd bet he would not immediately recommend a hysterectomy, especially when you don't want one, and wish to try alternatives. He's obviously always been for the most natural and least invasive options for everything, until extraordinary circumstances begin to demand extraordinary actions.
