ATTENTION, LIVEJOURNAL!
Here's a song you must have. Even if you don't download songs, ever, download this one. Because there are two, maybe three people still living who remember it. I was so young the first time I heard it, it isn't even funny. (read: 1970)
Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan - Tennessee Birdwalk
This is of course dedicated to my late second father, Mr. Ralph Derby, with so much affection, admiration, and humour, y'all couldn't imagine. *raises glass high*
Also, here's another one, because he should have two! Cheryl Wheeler - 75 Septembers *raises glass again*
Thanks be to
songdog for the mp3s. :) :)

He loved Tennessee Bird Walk. And he LIVED 75 Septembers.
I have the original 45rpm of Tennessee Bird Walk, (which Mother claims is hers, and it might be...but it's well cared for, and just as frequently played, no matter who physically possesses it)...at any rate, I remember BUYING that record, and giving it to Ralph as a gift...
