This book sounds completely fascinating. It's definitely the next book on my reading list. It looks like it's the Black Like Me of gender. I love books like this; ones that turn stereotypes on their ear by not only debunking a lot of them, but finding that there's truth to some of them and figuring out just why this is so. The author was surprised at how her perceptions of men changed after she spent a year and a half among them as one of them.

You can listen to the On Point podcast of Nora telling her story here.

I don't know. It wasn't mentioned in the interview. I hadn't heard of this author before, so I don't know anything about her, really. Hopefully it has.
