Well, the thing is that it's the direct translation basicallly, but quite literally. Like it says "Sag's mir, baby, weil ich brache zu wissen" which means "Tell me now, cuz I need to know" but like LITERALLY. In German you'd say "Ich muss wissen" which means "I must know". No other languages say "I need to" literally. That's why it's funny, cuz it's a comple literal translation that barely makes sense.

Well, actually you'd say "Sag's mir, denn ich muss es wissen/weil ich das wissen muss" ;) It reminds me of a game we used to play in English class, where did a similar thing, only the other way round. My favourites were "May I give you a wheelbeat?" and "My lovely Mr. Singing club" *g*

Do you know the Rio Reiser song I stand on you? The lyrics are hilarious, check them out.
