I don't know about "too Toronto" because I've never been there (even though I could swear I've been to the CN tower. Go figure). My favourite is still the Helsinki one.
I think the US and Canada should do regional ones, anyway, because what a California person would complain about isn't what I would, and you're not likely to complain about snow removal in Moncton. I mean not unless snow removal is your main cause, or something.
Me, I'd write something like:
"There are no street signs in Providence because people just think everyone lives there. I can't buy my milk and bread When the forecast calls for a flurry."
