I had The Hour on for a few minutes last night, saw the very beginning of the Hugh Dillon segment, then I foolishly (1) switched to The Tonight Show for "Headlines" and then (2) fell asleep and missed everything. (Damn day job.)

Now you get to watch it, yay! Of course, I'm consumed with jealousy that you actually get CBC on broadcast TV.

I think Beckett might be a keeper. Even better than Roger Clemons!

Clemens is over the hill. he's still as good than a lot of pitchers half his age, but he's not anywhere near the athletic genius he was.

As for Beckett, he's awesome. I heard a recap of the game on CBC, for goodness sake, and the reporter was raving about how good Beckett did.

I do cheer the Jays on when they're not in direct competition with the Sox. I'm fair like that. *g*

I'm so impressed with this guy. He seems thoughtful and intelligent and real. And he looks dropdeadgorgeous bald.

Since baseball was touched upon, I quite like the standings, especially in the East and Central. What say yours and mine meet up for the AL pennant?

Oh, and yes, The Sox and Tigers for the AL pennant, definitely (I remember when it just used to be "The Pennant", 'cause there was no East, West, or Central, it was all American or National, period). I'll still love you during the playoffs, you just might not think so. *g*

I was on AFTER ten, which is when I said I'd be. I'll be around tonight after work, but that's midnight. Monday night I have off, how about then?
