The Royal Ontario Museum is around the corner from where I go to school. If I bump into Paul Gross I will give him your best!! p.s. they have spent a lot of money renovating the outside of the museum to give it a modern look. So far I hate it but I am going to try to keep an open mind...
She must be nice with a name like Macmaster (which was the name of the University I went to.) She is certainly nicer than the other famous Canadian fiddle person whose name I will not mention.
The idea of a structure with no right angles is a little offputting, unless it's round, which I guess this isn't. Pointy architecture. Not so much my style, but I'd have to see the pictures.
FYI, Great Big Sea will be at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Cohasset on August 9. There's no way I could get down there for it on a weeknight but seeing as you're fairly close, i though you might be interested.
I've been to the ROM, but it was literally decades ago. I'm sure a bit has changed, but I hope they still have their dinosaur skeleton. Theirs is the first one I ever saw and I still remember being, like, "Whoa." And I agree about the "no right angles." It seems gimmicky.
And dude. I'd so much rather drag you to Toronto than Ottawa, but political geek that you are, I'm sure you'll be in your own little Heaven.

The consolation is that I'm going to spend at least a week in Ontario in July (and probably go to Ottawa OMG), so there's that.
Ooh, GBS. I'll see if I'm not working then.

I really, really want to see Natalie in concert someday. *sigh*
