Pakistan has definitely lost its best hope for stability and I wouldn't be surprised if it's now looking at the real possibility of civil war. I wonder how the Americans will handle that scenario.

Bhutto may have been controversial, but I have no doubt she loved her country utterly or she wouldn't have come back and risked her life like that. Ever since I first heard of her years ago I've always admired her strength and sense of purpose.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Dubya is talking about eeevil terrorists being responsible and the US is saying how security should have been better, but the Pakistani government were the ones responsible for her security, so how easy would it have been for someone on the inside to do the deed?
