I use this recipe, which is very yummy. Several times I've tried to make them to take places, and I always end up eating most of them. I don't make my own crust, but oh, well.
We'll have a couple of days in London and Stratford when I'm going to have to figure out Stuff to Do (because seriously, one can only gaze at cornfields for so long), so a butter tart hunt is a good thing to stick on the list.
