An embarrassed White House apologized Tuesday for an "unfortunate mistake" -- a less-than-flattering biography of Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi at the Group of Eight summit.... The biography described Berlusconi as one of the "most controversial leaders in the history of a country known for government corruption and vice."

Golf-clap = That uber-cultured, soft patting of the fingertips against the palm that happens at, like, the Masters, when the observers are trying not to throw anybody off their game, and want to be all snooty and "oh, that's capital, old chap".

I've never been golf-clapped before. I feel almost semi-sort-of-halfway wealthy. *g*

I feel compelled to note that the exporting company of the bull semen is based in Wisconsin but is a Canadian-owned company.

I really don't know what that says about us. But your Prez is a wacky guy. Capitalism really trumps all, it seems.
