Okay, so I'm finally watching My Life as a Dog (yes, I'm slow), and it's cute and fun and baby!Callum is prettier than he's allowed to be, and all that good stuff.

One question, though, and maybe nobody else noticed it or even cares, but um. What's with the American money? Makes no sense. Anyone maybe have a theory?

Well, yeah, that, and so far every time there's been money it's been greenbacks. Maybe TPTB were anticipating the US release, but still. Americans can figure out that it's really money even if it's blue and purple and red and things, you know?

Also dude. Johnny should have had his own series. And doesn't AJ look like Angelina Jolie's younger clone, only even prettier?

I figured the box was just because it was old and someone's stash but. I dunno! They make no bones about being set in Canada, and I thought I'd seen some Canadian money in the "A Day in the Life" ep but, honestly, when Johnny's on screen, I don't seem to pay attention to anything else.

My daugther loves MLAAD and she ADORES AJ. I am very pleased. These are kids that DON'T make me want to take them out and drown them. *g*

I've looked for Canadian money, haven't found any yet (including "A Day in the Life"). I've also noticed that every single time another city is referenced it's a US city. Maybe they didn't think an overtly Canadian series would sell in the US? Even though, um. It's blatantly obvious that this isn't an American show, for a lot of reasons (not the least of which are the blatantly obvious Canadian accents).

I love that there's not any real moralising. Nothing sounds forced at all, really.

Also, the kid who plays Sam also played kid!Fraser in dS, right? I'm not imagining this?
