So you remember that article I showed you? And the picture? Yeah?

Well, here's a companion video. From Rideau Hall, no less. He seems pretty blasé about Eastwick being cancelled, if you ask me (which, yeah, you didn't).

Oh, and he's also thinking about someday making a film about the Plains of Abraham. sdfk;ashdfsd;fhsdf. WANT NOW, PLZ.

I think PG was probably surprised that Eastwick got picked up and grateful when he was told he could go home.

Yeah, I think it was a lark for him. Maybe he forgot how much he hated Hollywood the first time around.

For a lark and for a nice infusion of cash, I think. He probably figured he tolerate anything for the amount of time it would take to shoot the pilot, then lo and behold, ABC surprised us all by picking it up.

Heeyeah, although I doubt he's hurting for funds very much.

I do think he liked working with Rebecca Romjin, though. I mean, she's gorgeous and seems pretty intelligent and she's actually good. I'd like to see her do more stuff (yeah, I know, everyone except me has seen her in other things).

Well I think the whole thing was like painting by numbers for him. He wasn't phoning his performances in, but he hardly looked like he was having to think carefully about his performance in the show. I imagine he enjoyed the break from having to use his brain for a few weeks...

He hardly needs the money, but on the other hand he seems to have been working for scale for about the past decade (i.e. S&A), and I can only imagine he made approx. $0 on Pass. Also, he needs to keep the potato car running. Tubers are expensive nowadays. ;)

According to him (jokingly) during the latest Q (I think?) interview. I'm guessing it's an eco-car of some description.

Did I see the latest Q interview? I probably did, because Paul and Jian Ghomeshi having a conversation in the same room is way too much pretty dorkery to ever miss, ever.

I'm sure you have - the second interview he did with him, the one with the fake Paul-produced documentary promo. Of course he did so many interviews over the past year or so, I may very well be getting mixed up - but its the same interview as when he said that he gave up his truck because Martha made him...sorry, I meant because he made a 'deal' with Martha.

Hmm. I think maybe that was The Hour? I can't find the clip to be sure, but if this is the fake film trailer you're talking about, then it was The Hour.

That's exactly the impression I got from the interview "Well it lasted a lot longer than I had imagined it would" - Oh Paul. Funny how he went in expecting failure.

The rest of the interview was good though - hard to hear the interviewer, but Paul was clear. Looking forward to the possibility of a diamond heist movie set in Montreal.

OLD Montreal, even better. The Plains of Abraham thing is nebulous, but I really, really hope it happens. Paul + Canadian history = Yay! And see? Her Excellency even agrees with me. :)

I haven't watched my downloaded file yet, so I don't know if the sound quality is any better. Probably is, though.

Hope so, although I think the interviewer was quiet as I saw Paul craning his neck a few times to hear him as well.

The plains of abraham idea is intriguing to say the least. Usually actors are lucky to have 1 great role in their career - he seems to have several under his belt. Can't help but feel that there is far more brilliance to come from him yet though...

I keep wondering if the interview is the same one who MC-ed the Ryerson thing. I don't remember exactly what he looked like and unfortunately I don't have any video.

Could be that if a Plains of Abraham film gets done it would be Paul directing someone else. As much as I'd like to see him play a role in it, I'd be happy to watch his production as well.
