but Yoko broke up the Beatles...!

(just kidding)

Actually, I quite like some of her art. It's really intriguing.

Um... I don't have any opinion about Yoko, because The Beatles were long before my time. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for saying these wonderful things about my story The Rage of the Tender on the Guns&Handcuffs thread. I'm so honoured and happy that such a great author and a nice person has liked it!

Oh, and thanks for complimenting my English knowledge. I know that my English sucks in general, but it's always nice to hear that I've improved. Sorry for the late reply - I just noticed your answer while surfing through the previous G&H thread...

Actually, Yoko didn't really break up the Beatles. She was actually at the studio as much as she was, not because she wanted to control John, but that he wouldn't go if she didn't come with him. She actually kept the Beatles together longer than they would have been without her. *sigh* Still, the myth perpetuates. *g* [/geekout]

You deserve it! RotT is a fantastic story, and I was surprised when you said that English wasn't your first language. I'm so looking forward to the next chapter.

And I am so, so not a great writer. I have one half-finished fic and a bunch of t00by ficlets. But thanks for saying so. I do like to think I'm a nice person, though. *g*

*hugs*

Well, anytime anyone choses to express themselves in unique ways, I'm happy for them. However based on her past work, I won't be seeking out her current stuff. It's just way too "out there" for my personal taste.

Oh, yeah, her stuff is out there all right. She also shouldn't be allowed to sing. It's Yoko as a person that I admire. Even with all she's been through, she's still got that innocent optimism that's really rare, but lovely. It's not the content, but the spirit of her art that I like (although her poetry isn't all that bad).
