!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those are so awesome, they make me want to run out and buy a desktop computer just so I can have the excuse to buy one. The Alchemist one? *GRABBY HANDS*

Dear God, please let the people at Apple see these and decide that what we really need is a super-retro Mac based on 17th-century design principles. PLEASE.

*FLAIL*

That? Would've been all the incentive I needed to keep from switching to Mac four months ago. Srsly.

Not a whole computer, but this keyboard is made especially for Macs.

ETA: Yeah, um. I want that laptop.

That one doesn't appeal to my aesthetic so much, but it looks like all of these are custom, so I bet he could make a Mac version of the Alchemist, or even the Gothic whole computer. Y'know, if I had five or six thousand dollars lying around...!

I scare myself when I think of what might happen if I ever seriously got into steampunk. Which I never rule out.

I don't have a desktop computer, either, but one can dream. The Scrabble one is cool, but I'd probably go with one of the Steampunk models (dunno which one, I love them all!).

Wow!

This brings to mind Kage Baker's Novels of the Company. The immortal automata have Cabinets which permit me them to compute across time: I'm sure they looked a lot like these.

Those sound like very cool books. *adds to wishlist*
