Oh, I think the Macbeth actor was more annoying, but his prickliness was crucial to the plot.

Huh. This is evidence of a truly tightly plotted show: even mopey Jack mopeyness is integral.

I love Claire with the hair. She makes Kate interesting. If I wanted to dump anyone, it'd be Kate, but I'm not into messing with perfection, so she stays.

Well, maybe we don't need him, but he does add to Richard's plot (and plight). Richard would be a happier guy if he left, though.

Not to mention that the Macbeth actor was Geraint Wyn Davies, who is wonderful in general. I got to actually SEE him in Mackers at Stratford last year (he played Duncan and Colm Feore was Macbeth), and the year before that as Pelonius in Hamlet.
