Remember me?

Hi, all. For those of you who still remember me, I am not gone, honest! I've been on hiatus way too long, and I want to come back! Working full-time now, and it's eating my life (OTOH, I don't have to be worried about bank overdrafts for the first time in many, many years).

So. Tell me what's going on, give me recs, give me news, inform me! I'm going to try to go over my very long flist within the next week and do catch-up and delete dead accounts (of which mine is definitely NOT), and get rid of comms I don't read (these are more political than fan-related, and I'm officially sick to death of US politics). But I want back into fandom--picking up new ones (OMG DEXTER. SOMEONE PLEASE TALK TO ME ABOUT DEXTER), but still firmly in C6D (which I doubt I will ever really leave).

So, you guys, whaddya say? Am I welcome? Is there still a seat at the fannish table? Can I come home?

Hey, do you want to read the finished draft of my Fraser-is-asexual fic? I'd love to see what you think of it now that the first draft is complete (well, except that I need to figure out a good sentence to end it on).

Hiya! I've been going through a quiet cycle myself; not posting much on DW (combination of life and tumblr draining my interweb energy), so I'm certainly in no place to complain about anyone else taking a leave of absence. C6D has been quiet as a whole; seems like a lot of people have moved on to other fandoms, but Midsummer Santa happened not long ago and the Big Bang's wrapping up soon.

Ah, a lovely familiar voice. I've dabbled in SGA and Sherlock (BBC), but there's an eternal pulsing flame in my heart for C6D.

Yippee for no bank overdrafts! Congrats, sorta, for a full time job. Missing you and your lovely writings, but you don't need to write to be welcome here.

I'm planning on doing some writing. I'd like to do something earlier, but I'll definitely be doing DSSS, which I do every year (I always say if I can't do DSSS I'm not actually still in fandom, because I love it so). So far my only muse is C6D, but I read quite a few fandoms. Thanks for the welcome!

I'm seeing some new DS writers in my (so far very short) travels, so hopefully there will be continued life there. FB has eaten my interweb energy, but it's like all these empty calories, and I want me some good fannish nutrition.

I would love to read it! I've been wondering when you were going to write more and if you needed any more help with it (although you are the easiest beta I've ever done because there is almost never anything but typos to fix. *g*).
