Thank the little gods I went to bed before the 12th-inning heartbreak.

For it's "Root, root, root for the Red Sox..."

I wanted to have Oakland win one game (and only one game) but now I am wholeheartedly suppporting the Sox.

I might as well be. The Sox lost. Again.

Like they're really going to win the next three games. *sigh*

The Tigers probably actually have won a World Series since 1918, too, I'll wager.

True enough, they've won a few championships in the past century. But now they're in the record books as the losingest team *EVER*. I blame owner Mike Illitch. He owns the Red Wings too and all his $$$ have been going to them. God bless him, I LOVE the Wings and am MUCH more a hockey fan than one of baseball, but how 'bout spreading that wealth around a bit, eh Mikey?
