SO not fair.

RIP Elizabeth Edwards.

Rest well, smart, brave, classy lady. :(

I said yesterday that I thought she'd be sad to leave, but find a measure of peace. I hope that wherever she is, she's with her son tonight.

I believe she is. I don't know that I believe in a heaven, per se (in that YOU MUST ACCEPT CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR OR YOU'RE FUCKED) but I do believe that death is a passage into another plane of existence. Sort of like changing your clothes, to use a crude example. And she's in a place that is full of love and joy and peace, and it's something we cannot comprehend.

I don't believe in a literal heaven, but I really like your version.

Also? I think the Christians should use your slogan. I'd love to see giant billboards saying "ACCEPT CHRIST OR YOU'RE FUCKED".

If there's any kind of an afterlife (and I hope there is), she is.

I just saw that on the news! And only 61. She was class personified and a role model for all women. I hope her passing was painless and peaceful. She was strong, intelligent, and I know she's up there chatting with Eleanor of Aquitaine. They'd get along great, I think.

They would! Also Eleanor Roosevelt.
