Loved the comments about Shirley Hazzard in the story. Can you imagine how much she was squirming in her seat as someone who actually sells a lot of books received such an honor? How often do you think she recites the fact that she writes her stroies longhand and doesn't own a tv?
BTW...what your feelings about Dark Tower V...if you've read it? I haven't read it yet but it's on my Christmas list.
