Waitaminute...George Michael did a cover of Tonight? Where - on one of his own albums, or Two Rooms?

Always loved that song, one my favorite EJ tunes, even the Live in Australia version.

The Australia recording of The Greatest Discovery kicks ass, too.

George did a great cover...I think it's from Two Rooms. It's actually better than Elton's, which saying that in my case is tantamount to treason.

Can I send it to you? Is there a format that's better than others for you to be able to listen?

Let me know, and I'll send. *g*

An MP3 file will work fine.

What I have to do nowadays is kinda peel back a song layer by layer to puzzle it out, then put it all together. I'll play it 2-3 times to get the drums, again for the guitar, again for the vocal, etc. I may well listen to it a dozen times before I can really sense how it all fits. It demands enough effort that I seldom bother anymore.

But this is a tune that already has it's own dedicated neural pathways, so I don't think it'll be too hard to follow, even with another vocalist.

I always thought the vocal on Tonight was the weakest part, so I'm not surprised GM improved on it.

I'll send you my address in e-mail.

Tried sending a note to your text message address. It bounced!

Hmm. Well, I added the text-message thing on a whim. I'll have to check the phone. Maybe I've got a zillion messages sitting there waiting. I'm so technologically impaired it's not funny.

Send a note to my e-mail instead. *g*
