Interesting article concerning the problems Log Cabin Republicans are having with Dubya and the FMA and voting their conscience.
*cheers for RI Senator John Chaffee, who voted against the debate for the FMA!*
I love my Republican Senator muchly. He actually does vote his conscience, and he voted against Dubya and the US invasion of Iraq. *loves*

Something bothered me that I'd never really thought of before...the phrase "openly gay". Am I "openly female"? "openly heterosexual"? That a person must consider whether to allow a part of what defines them as a unique person to be seen by the rest of society seems very sad.
