Date: 2004-07-18 05:38 pm (UTC)Something bothered me that I'd never really thought of before...the phrase "openly gay". Am I "openly female"? "openly heterosexual"? That a person must consider whether to allow a part of what defines them as a unique person to be seen by the rest of society seems very sad.
