I am not here this weekend because I have to be at work, here. Also, because have no money, and Christmas is coming (the goose is getting fat).

Also, there is still snow on the ground. And I have to go out and get coffee, and it's COLD.


Shower me with pity.

ETA: I AM CONSOLING MYSELF THAT IT IS PROBABLY EVEN COLDER IN MINNEAPOLIS.

Not so much, actually! We've had a few gorgeous days, but we've also had our fair share of freezing cold, miserable rainy days. Stupid changeable Melbourne weather. Some exciting storms, though :)

You know, there's a very good chance that in March, you could leave snow and arrive in 70-degree temps here.

Of course, since it's March, there's an equal chance that you could arrive here to our biannual snow event. (One year, we had ONE snow. It was on April 2.)

But the important thing is, we never have snow in November.

And only v. rarely in December (once, we had a white Christmas! I was eight.)

Just send it on over to Jersey, babe. Oh, wait, no, I have to fly to Texas on Friday, fly back to Jersey on Monday, and drive to Virginia on Tuesday. On second thought, don't send the White Stuff just yet.

(Dang. I actually like snow. Even after last winter, when I froze my ass off in an uninsulated, often non-electrified-during-snowstorms guest house. But this year I have Real Heeeeeeeeeat!!!)
