Fandom Ginny? *sporks* And while I think that taken at face value, OotP Ginny comes close to being a Mary Sue, there are explanations for why she "suddenly" changes, when you take into account that it's all Harry's pov. Which makes me like her a lot more now ;)

Now if only there were fics in which she was neither goth, not weepy, nor Suzy Home-maker pinning her eternal devotion to Harry . . .

And out of curiosity, you say any fandom, but all your loathed characters are HP- an effect of fandom?

Yes, thank you. I dislike Fandom!Ginny as well. But Canon!Ginny is great!

I must write the perfect H/G story...

Difficult. Probably people won't like it because of lack of Fandom!Ginny. ha!

Caught between a rock and a hard place- the Ginny-lovers wouldn't like it because it wasn't fandom!Gin, and the Ginny-haters wouldn't read it because they all profess such intense hatred for her BECAUSE of fandom Ginny. There's really no way to win, despite her potential to be a fascinating character.

Maybe so. I tried to think of non-fandom characters that I didn't like...I couldn't think of any, although I'm certain they exist.
