Some kind of night into your darkness colours your eyes with what’s not there

I'm sick and I have to go into work anyway, because I only have five hours sicktime and a shift is eight. *coughs, sneezes, is generally contagious*

I'm gonna have to try and get my work finished up early so I can watch the game (big telly in the middle of the unit, yay!).

It's a working man I am, and I've been down underground

I finally caved and called in sick to work, something I've NEVER done in the year I've worked at my current job. Coughing and sneezing on patients isn't cool, and the Robitussin (generic) doesn't work for much longer than an hour. Also am getting more and more achy. So I get to make tea and cuddle in blankies on the couch and watch the game and try not to get too anxious.

welcome back my friends to the show that never ends

Most of you guys have seen this. Those who haven't need to. Those who have, look again.

America, this is your government at work. Friends abroad, please, please show your support for the US. No, you can't vote, but you might have friends or relatives over here who are citizens and are undecided. A situation like this would not have happened had Al Gore been President these last four years.


I haven't posted anything blatantly political in a while. But this is so very scary.

I'm not going to friends-lock my LJ or stop ranting about this deluded, misguided, xenophobic government or its wrongly-appointed leader. I would never threaten anyone's life, nor do I wish anyone dead. I just wish this moron would be voted out of office, legally and rightfully, as he was four years ago, before the Supreme Court decided to play God.

Yeah, I'm angry. But I'm not gonna shut up, and if that gets me an FBI file, so be it. *shakes fist at G-Men*
