so, yeah - sports radio? I know baseball games don't start at 11am, so... who is listening to sports radio??

Well, it was on in my bedroom. I was listening to it before bed. And I can't get the game on this station--I was listening to stuff about baseball.

In my own defence, I must mention that I do change the station when stuff about (*grimace*)football and (*gag*) basketball start up. I maintain that I am not a sports fan, but a Sport fan.

To be fair to the South, NASCAR has *not* increased in popularity here in the last five-ten years. It's increased in popularity elsewhere in the country, which has led to increased media coverage and so on of this southern 'phenomeon'

It does however, have its roots in Prohibition and outrunning the excise men or something like that.
