I saw Kingdom of Heaven. Mneh. I'm glad Orli held his own in a mediocre movie. Now let's see him in a good one. I'm not OMGORLISQUEE, but I really want him to succeed.

Does anyone besides me think it's really, really strange that with all the teaser trailer, hi-res pics, interviews, and other stuff about Goblet of Fire THERE HASN'T BEEN ONE PICTURE OF DRACO? Something fishy is going on. :/ I went to IMDB just to make sure Tom Felton's still in the cast and that somehow Draco hadn't been cut out of the film. He's still there, but geez. Show us, Warner Brothers, fergodssake!

I quite liked "Kingdom of Heaven". It kept me engaged and interested and I think it was a well-balanced, intelligent portrayal of both sides, Christian & Muslim (although I would've liked to have seen a bit more of the inner workings of the Muslim side). I liked its thoughtful tone, quiet where it needed to be quiet - which was more often than in most flicks of these type (a good thing), and the battle scenes were not as gruesome as I'd anticipated. Of course, Liam Neeson (purrr) was fantastic, but was lost far too early in the movie. Orlando was best in the early goings of the movie, when he was at his most conflicted. He's starting to really show some growth in his ability. One quibble - once again, the bad guys were so bad as to be cartoonish. I want desperately to see bad guys (and good guys) that are fully human, giving in to their bad or good proclivities while still showing the occasional glimpse of their buried good or bad.
