I think it says that you, like most of the world, recognize that the HP books are great. It's just the teenagers who must be jaded in order to be cool who back away. I mean, shit, it's no fun to be angsty if it appears that someone -- least of all a literary character -- might understand your angst. The whole point of angst is that you're misunderstood, right?
