Is there anything being organised to help the victims of the London bombings and their families? Anything that we Americans/Canadians/other people who aren't right there can do to help?

I feel so far away, and I'd really like to do anything I can, even if it's sending a care package. Anyone have any ideas/info?

I doubt it. Without wishing to sound patronising, the Brits are pretty resilient.

By Monday it will be business as usual over here.

:) This is, as one of my American ex-pat friends said, about a 2/11 on the disaster scale.

We've been facing this for years, under the IRA. It's always shocking (especially as this is my first attack since I moved into London at 18), but we'll just dust ourselves off and get on with life.

That's just what we do.

Sometimes I really love old Blighty.

I think that's the best way to show the terrorists that they didn't succeed.
