Am I the only one who thinks the Pumpkin Pie wank is hysterically funny? No, I'm not talking about the rational H/Hr people who are disappointed that their ship isn't canon (although we H/D people deal with that on a daily basis and for the most part DON'T CARE).

I'm talking about the nutters, here, folks.

I mean, geez. They're raising money to put an ad in the NY Times!!!! Directed at JKR, apparently. Because of course, she reads the NY Times with her English Breakfast tea every morning whilst sitting in her kitchen in England where of course the NYT is SO relevant to British life because OMG the US is the CAPITAL OF THE WORLD, and therefore everyone must know what goes on there at all times.

If anyone takes out an ad in the Providence Journal I shall die from amusement. C'mon, Rhode Island. I double-dog-dare you.

And the petition? HAHAHAHAHAAA. So funny.

Geez, guys. Get a clue, get a life. Go for a walk in the woods, take some classes, learn to dance or something.


Besides, like ivyblossom, I follow the One True Way.


And anyway, I think if JKR did read an ad in the NYT like that she'd think it was as funny as I do.

OMG I just spend the last fifteen minutes laughing so hard. The best post was the one that said OotP isn't really canon, because the story makes sense if you read 1-4 and then 6, and without OotP, there's not as much Harry/Hermione hints. Erm?

I also read one that was like 'we're a PIRATE ship now, because we aren't going to be in canon' and I'm wondering... does she think that EVERYONE ELSE thinks their ship is going to be canon?? The mind boggles. I dare anyone to find me a Snape/Harry shipper who thinks it will happen in canon. I would say H/D, but you know, there's probably a couple of crazies who might think that, so I thought I'd go with Snarry, because it might be a little safer in my claim. Still. OMG. WE'RE NOT CANON, OH NO.
