Jo says, "Dumbledore's guesses are never very far wide of the mark."

So...I say this means whan he says he trusts Snape completely, he's pretty close to being right.

I've been thinking that Snape took an Unbreakable Vow to obey Dumbledore no matter what, which is why Dumbledore never blinked an eye at rumors of betrayal.
