I live in Massachusetts because when my first marriage broke up, I came home to family. Before coming back, I lived in California (4 years) and Florida (7 years). I stay because my current ( and last!) wife has a business here, as well as four children, a sister, and a mother in New England. My parents also live here.

However, a permanent exodus to warmer climes is not out of the question in the future.
