And I'm Official! Maybe I even will get the T-shirt! This means, of course, that I'm not going to Lumos, even if happen to be picked for the waiting list. It's all good, though, because this one sounds even better. And I'm not a huge fan of Vegas, anyway. (yeah, I know peacey loves it, but...). And to provide much-needed tourist money to New Orleans businesses makes it that much better. Besides, It'll be cheaper to get there, hopefully.

Oh, and. If anyone finds me going anywhere NEAR a Shoney's during the conference, stop me. Please.

I know, wah. But if it's a choice between New Orleans and Vegas, I'll pick the Big Easy anyday. And besides, I'm already taking one vacation this year (to patchfire's house, leaving on St Pat's day). I really can't afford the time off for two. Not to mention the airfare. It would have been a BIG stretch for Lumos.

I'd love to go to both, but I have to be a Grownup once in a while. *sigh*

I've never been to New Orleans -- I want to go sometime but this really isn't feasible to me. (And I've been committed to Lumos since bekkio first mentioned it to be a month after we met at Nimbus!)
