Here's how the story looks in the conservative and apparently fundamentalist WorldNetDaily:

Judge rules civil union invalid out-of-state

Note the subheading "Former Lesbian battles for custody of her biological child".

Here's how the Human Rights Campaign reports it:

Landmark Ruling Made in Civil Union Custody Battle.

It's interesting to note that this court ruling happened in 2004, yet WorldNetDaily is treating it like it happened very recently (note March 14 date). Way to lie, guys.

Either way, a parent is banned from seeing her own child, and a little girl is without a parent.

WorldNet daily, Virginia Circuit Court Judge John R. Prosser, and certainly Lisa Miller-Jenkins should all be ashamed of themselves.

Apparently this case may go all the way to the Supreme Court;a lot of good THAT will do.

This rant was brought to you by preflight insomnia and two hours of sleep. I just hope I can sleep on the plane, because I'm wiped.

Jacob's ear left blood on the sheets overnight. :/ So I'm waiting for nine o'clock to roll around. Did I mention he won't stay put in his part of the playroom, so we haven't gotten any school done. ATM, I'm really wishing Gillian didn't want to go to the airport with me because wow, I could turn the volume up on the radio. :P

Well, you could tell her no. Not that I mind her being there. :)

She's been asking me for a week if it was the day to go to the airport yet, and the first thing she said when she woke up this morning was 'is it time to go to the airport?' The second was 'when will it be time?' :)
