Surprise.

You probably expected to get this about as much as I expected I'd be writing it. That I'm forgoing sleep for anything is testament to the power of my insomnia, my paranoia, or my complicity in them.

Its 0104 hours, Sunday. I'm on the move in three hours, meeting an old friend. He's bringing a new one. I doubt they'll be as friendly when I tell them what I have to say. I'll get over it. They won't. They're going to be annoyed. Probably call me very bad names. But you know what they say. Sticks and stones do break bones but guns draw blood much quicker.

Earning frequent flyer miles to Italy, the Czech Republic, Tunisia. Are you inclined to believe me? Maybe it was England, Germany, and Russia. Or New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. Wherever it is, I'm on the lookout for a souvenir for you. "My lover killed a man in Rome, stole in Prague, blackmailed a country in Tunis and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.."Maybe shot glasses instead. Think of me when you smell the Stoli.

Christ, I'm tired. Have to make this short and sweet. Clips don't reload themselves and I should try to sleep.

Before I do, I need you to put that package I left with you in locker 207 in terminal one at JFK by 2 October. If there is anything else there, leave it alone.

Tell Walter, the clean Marine, my palm pilot is charging as I write this.

If you see Mulder, tell him, "Tymne van'kune val'aj."

Ya skuchala po tyebye

I know you checked the postmark. You should know better.

-A.

(Note from actual author: This is a work of fiction. Does everyone out there understand this? Nothing is in locker 207 in terminal one at JFK Airport and there is no package to put in there. As far as I know, it's a fictional locker. Don't have the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, the CIA, MI6, Mossad, Interpol, the KGB, James Bond, or the Men in Black descend on me and lock me away forever. On second thought, the new Bond could drop by if he wanted to.)
