Dec. 22nd, 2006 04:12 pmI've wanted to do a picspam meme for ages, and now I finally have a decent camera with which to do it. So here goes:
What would you like me to take a picture of? Within reason, of course, it's not like I can photograph the Eiffel Tower or anything. Y'know, the usual stuff you'd ask for in picspam memes.
Also, I'll do a Q&A pic meme. Ask me a question and I'll answer you with a picture, which might be something I take or something I find online. I've never seen one of these done, so ask away! The more people who ask, the more fun it'll be.
Also, I just noticed (well, okay, I noticed hours ago, but I had to sleep!) that the picture in my modified meme wasn't showing up from my flist.
Go look at him because he's pretty. If I'd met him before I got married, well. Especially if he had all those qualities written below him. *sigh*
Bleh. Now I've got to go to the Mall and I don't wanna.

Date: 2006-12-22 10:42 pm (UTC)[...]And he did appreciate Gross' words in his speech where he said it's time Canada "boasts our military history."
Gross has got that right. In all my years as the Night Scrawler I'd never met the Due South star but I was impressed with him yesterday and his devotion to our veterans. He was telling me next year he's going to film a World War I movie he wrote on the story of Passchendaele, where so many Albertans fought.
His own grandfather fought in that battle which Canada made such a mark at. That's going to be interesting to watch for. It was a real labour of love for Gross who said "I have been working on it for 10 years."
It's going to be a big feature film for the theatres and sounds like the kind of thing Canadians can embrace. It's a Canadian-made movie, about Canadians, made by a guy in Gross who doesn't just talk about doing things but actually does them. Perhaps when he's done he will come back to Sunnybrook and give the veterans a screening.

Maybe you could do something similar - just record whatever you are doing at a certain time on any given day, so maybe you could take one picture of your world each hour so we can see how it develops throughout the day (hee!).
The link to the PM pictures is here (Here is one gallery, there are currently about 30 and they are still trying to put them up). The results are oddly poignant:
