With Canada being what it is, I finally understand what compels people to become double agents or spies during a war. If Canada suddenly went to war with the UK, then I couldn't help myself but be working for the 'enemy' as I have a love for Curling,Rick Mercer and CBC radio, so how could I not?!. ;-)

Just to change subject completely, I wonder if the Canadian Immigration test could be changed to include the following:

17) Please explain the plot of H2O by using the following sub-headings: a) Political systems b) Historical pacts and bills c) The advantages of a global community d) The love-hate relationship between Canada and the USA. e) Why could the Big Business guys only seem to afford to pay one hit-man?


That will knock out a great deal of people by the end of the first sentence.

If Canada goes to war with the US, I'll defect, because that's just silly.

Not to mention: 17A) a) What is Parliament voting on? b) What are the political parties of the candidates, and how can you tell? c) Is there a reason for francophones to be speaking English even when they're talking privately with other francophones? d) Which is more traumatic for a Canadian husband: his wife pretending to be his mother or his wife pretending to be an American politician? e) Does the level of trauma in d. change significantly if said Canadian husband was the one who requested that she do both of these things in the first place?
