I've been looking into hostels, which are a LOT cheaper than hotels, and I found a couple in London that I thought you might want to look at. I mean, check out these prices:

Western Bed and Breakfast at the University of Western Ontario: $38.50 CDN (about $35 USD)/night (not including GST and PST, but I think we can get those back). $52 CDN (about $46 USD)/night if we want breakfast and cleaning services.

ACBB Accomodations London looks even better, and it has a kitchen so we can cook and save money. It's $29.50 USD for a shared three-bed private room. I like the looks of this one. :)

I can look for more. There's one in Stratford, but it seems to be just doubles and it's more expensive, relatively. I don't mind the drive, anyway. Ironically, London is the only place in Ontario where I've ever spent actual time (unless I count my memory of being in the CN tower despite having never been to Toronto in my life). I was fourteen at the time and don't remember much of my experience except that I thought the money was cool and that cigarettes came in flat boxes, which I also thought was cool.
