* by which I mean -- wow! he looks even better than his average, which is still above the standard of mortal man! Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was harshing on him, there.
Paul has stages, I think. There was the Young Starlet Look, then The Fraser Years. Now he's moved on to a middle age that most men would kill for. Most women, also. I don't know whether to be jealous or turned on. Both, probably. *g*
I'm thinking suddenly that I'd really like him to grow out his hair. I think grey or salt and pepper or whatever it is would look good on him.
I would prefer his real hair color too - it's disconcerting to see that fake color on him - it just doesn't match his coloring. He is so ridiculously handsome. I am glad that I will never meet him because I would just blurt that out and then die of embarrassment.
I think his current hair colour is pretty close to his own, but usually when one reaches the mid-forties there's at least a little gray in there somewhere (I speak from experience, y0). I think he'd look very nice with some silver, actually.
I actually think his hair is a bit more faded. Remember that pic of him behind the camera? I know you've seen it. He is more of a mousier brown than the reddish hair they give him now. I wish I knew where that picture was. It's maybe from the set of Men with brooms? But it definitely wasn't dyed and there was gray in it at the temples.
There's this one, but I don't think it's the one you meant:
It's interesting that both of these were taken on the set of MWB (the first one is from the IMDB MWB page, and that's Chris Cutter's curling sweater in the second). Paul's hair colour looks different in each one of them, most likely because in the first one he's wearing light clothing during the day and in the second it's dark and he's wearing black. The daylight picture is probably closest, being natural light, and all.
And okay, now I'm being waay too meta. :D *resists urge to post Paul's Hair Through the Years Picspam (at least for now, anyway).
ooh - you are good. That's the one - the top one. It might be the fact that he is in real LIVE daylight rather than movie or indoor lighting. I love that picture anyway - it's one of my favorites because he looks so real there. Like one could conceivably have a cup of coffee with him. *rolls over laughing because we ALL know what me meeting Paul Gross entails - INSTANT PARALYSIS*
